What has happened in my life in the last week...

Hello everyone and a happy Sunday to all of you! Sorry I have been super busy this last week so here is an update on my life... first off I won 2nd place in my comp this past weekend which was AMAZING! No I am not disappointed at all I am very excited and happy! Really it has just pushed me to the point of working my a$$ off to win this next one. Or at least place again would be ideal! It was so fun just to be in the atmosphere of competing again with all the gorgeous people! I still cant believe I am one of them. I was not as lean for this show as I would have liked to be and thats what the judges told  me so I wasn't extremely upset or anything. I am going to kick but here in 20 days when I compete again! Here are a few pics of course.



So yeah this past weekend was fantastic! I can't wait to step back on to the stage with a leaner, tighter, all around better package in 20 days! I was going to go on a rant about the things people say but I don't think I will...All I can say is the things that you say to people can hurt their feelings. If you don't know a person "constructive criticisim" maybe is not the best idea. Also for everyone out there who thinks that calling a girl anorexic is a compliment you are sorely wrong. Anywho. Could it be...PEAK WEEK?!

What a beautiful Sunday morning it is today! Since this is peak week and I have 3 work outs a day to get in I wont be able to write this on a Monday like I normally do so here it is early! So I have 6 days out from my competition which means this is the beginning of peak week and yes in case you were wondering I am completely freaking out! I am freaking out in two ways A. I am SO SO SO super excited to compete again because I love being on stage and the atmosphere of competition. B. I am scared out of my mind...my body fat is higher and I am doing the open category and not novice which for some reason to me feels harder...and I am just nervous! I know I have worked my booty up (not off cause I am a bikini competitor and that would make me loose lol!) but I have seriously killed it. When I left my cute husband in Arizona like 6 weeks ago I weighed 138 and yesterday's weigh in was 124.4 so yeah you could say I have really worked hard and I still have 33 days until the big NPC competition so that is good I have time to make myself even better! With all of that being said I am going to try really hard not to be a raging B this week and why would I be you ask? Well my diet will be very dry this week lots of asparagus and tilapia (which is fine I actually have learned to LOVE asparagus it has GREAT flavor!). But ok again two things maybe three...A. my hubbs isnt here and last time he literally cooked all of my food and packed my bags and basically held me as I cried every night out of fear of failing and told me how great I was. Yes I am the luckiest girl ALIVE he is amazing! and B. I cant chew gum...ok let me put this in perspective for you chewing gum is like my smoking I probably go through 6-7 packs of gum a week...yeah its bad but some times without being able to eat sweets it is the ONLY thing that will hit the spot but I cant chew it and I wont. I did it last time and I can totally do it again haha. I want to know I did everything that I could. But I am extremely excited and I have added the page to the NGA info on here in case you want to come support and cheer for me! I would love it and would love to meet any of you! Come cheer me on or your friends who are competing in it. OH and can I just say I am so excited to have my one cheat meal! Can you say hello cheese fries and apple pie or something to that affect? Haha but only one cheat meal because again 3 weeks later I will be competing again. That is my new life style. A once in a while cheat meal I dont want to get out of control EVER again! I've got this! Again I have the eye of the tiger. (That tiger is me this week, I am breaking through and kicking butt!)

Holy 2 Weeks Away...

Well if it isn't my fabulous readers! So guess what I am two weeks out from my first competition of this season and second competition ever! It is the NGA competition in Ogden Utah and I could not be more excited than I am right now. Last Saturday I went and posed in the gym with my team and I forgot how much I LOVE the way being in that competition suit and heels makes me feel. I love it, it is such an adrenaline rush for me. I cant wait to get my tan on and nails and do all the fun girly things you do before competition. I am getting down to the basics of competition week like just chicken and veggies (obviously there is more but that is what I feel like I eat the most) BUT surprisingly my favorite meal is really simple here it is:

4 oz chicken
1/2 cup brown rice cooked
1 cup zucchini that is also cooked in a frying pan

Eat all that together and holy moly that is one amazing meal! I like to season it with Mrs. Dash Southwest Chipotle seasoning and garlic of course! So I have been getting in all my cardio and all my weight training...I just wish I was doing more weight training but I do feel like I have been kicking some serious butt! Seriously people I am so excited to walk out on stage again! I feel like although I may  not be as lean in this moment as I was for my last show I have more confidence and I am WAY MORE EXCITED if that is even possible. And it is ok that I am not as lean for this one because in 6 weeks from now I am also competing in the NPC competition and by that time I plan on bringing a way leaner, sexier, more fierce package. I have decided my animal is a Tiger. I have the eye of a tiger. I am focused and nothing can stop me, not even myself. Although I do feel that this journey is 1000000x harder with out the man that I love and adore by my side this time (since he is living in AZ at the moment ]: ) I still feel like I have a good support system in place. My parents, my family, my cute husbands family, my AMAZING coach Sandy Hancock (check her out if you have questions haha), my team mates, and my new friends at the gym! This show is going to rock! Best Weekend Ever!

So how did my weekend start out? Well here was my plan its labor day weekend so I thought PERFECT time to catch up on my sleep and vegg out in between gym sessions! Then Friday night I get this email that says your flight has been confirmed and I was like ummmm yeah I didnt book a flight then I realized the most magical thing of all, it was true I didnt book a flight from Phoenix AZ to SLC UT but KEVIN DID!!! So Friday night I picked him and and seriously I have never been happier. I have missed him so much! He really is my rock and my best, best, best, BEST friend in the whole world. It is crazy how much I love him and don't realize it when we get to spend all the time together. So I got to vegg out this weekend with my best friend and it pushed me even harder at the gym! I need to rant or go off on a tanget for about 5 seconds ok here it goes...HOLY CRAP MY HUSBAND IS THE SEXIEST MAN ALIVE AND I AM SO LUCKY THAT I GET TO SPEND ETERNITY WITH HIM! HE TAKES CARE OF ME AND IS THE SWEETEST, GENTLEST, KINDEST, HARD-AS-A-ROCKEST MAN I HAVE EVER KNOWN. I LOVE YOU BABY AND I KNOW YOU ARE READING THIS HAHA. Ok thanks for letting me go off! So today I am 18 days out from the NGA and honestly I feel great! I have a few pics to show everyone if you don't already follow me on instagram @akundis. I have been kicking butt and taking no days off I do cardio 7 days a week even when I dont want to. It is totally worth it. I am also going to be starting a fat burner called SHREDZ so I am just hoping that it can give me a little edge because my abs are the things I have the hardest time with. Way Too Long

Why hello my fan-tabulous readers! Wow hasn't it been so long since you have heard from me? Why yes I believe it is well let me tell you why! So my cute Kevin started medical school (I cant remember if I have told you that) and we moved him down to Arizona. Well I stayed with him for a few weeks and then came back home to finish up my degree...one more semester thank goodness! Well I have still been working WAY WAY WAY hard and my competition is in 4 weeks! Can you believe that? Yeah I know its craziness here but I am getting so excited. I have 4 weeks until my September competition and I think 7 weeks until my October and I feel like I am looking pretty dang good! Ok here it goes 4 am (every freaking morning) my alarm goes off reminding me that my dream is in my hands! I guess that helps right? Then I hurry and in 20 mins am out the door and off to do some yummy good morning cardio as I down my dry oats out of a measuring cup and my YUMMY protein shake (and tomorrow I get to try an orange protein shake thank you Amy!) so that is exciting. Then I kick butt doing cardio of course because I am going to succeed again at this next competition. After that I rush home and it is usually about 5:30 and I shower so I dont smell bad while I am teaching haha. Then I leave at 6:30 for school and arrive around 7 am yay. Then I prep and get ready to teach and school starts at 7:45 am and ends at 2:30 pm. I have to stay until 3 pm or I get in trouble which is fine. Then Tuesday- Friday I head to the gym and lift weights and I LOVE LIFTING WEIGHTS! If it is Monday (like it is now) then I am sitting in class my one class for the semester. Monday's are my rest days from lifting weights which sucks cause really I LOVE lifting! Then after the gym or class I go home and EAT FOOD (which I have been eating all day) but this food is different for some reason haha! Then I study my little heart out and prepare my material to teach the next day.Then I eat again my second favorite meal of the day which is 4 egg whites, 3 oz avocado, 1 tbsp of salsa and I spread the avocado on top of the eggs and top it with salsa really it is heavenly! Then I go to bed...if I have a day where I can watch tv that would be fantastic but generally I am pretty dang busy! OH! before I go to bed I facetime my sweetie pie because I can't handle not seeing his amazing face before I go to bed. So that is my life and it is crazy and beautiful but I love it. Social Media

Well good morning followers! Today I have a special rant on social media...don't get me wrong it has its place and am I addicted? Yes, like everyone else I love facebook, instagram, and am starting twitter. Now this is where I get to my rant however childish this may be...So when I see someone on a social media site I generally read about them first you know likes, dislikes, all that fun stuff. Well I got a kik account recently and oh my goodness...So on my facebook my name is Annie KEVIN Kundis (Kevin in my cute and adoring hubby!) and it says married yet still guys ask me out over it....on my instagram it says TAKEN yet they still flirt with me and random  stuff...but the worst thing yet is that yesterday on kik some guy started talking to me and I told him no thank you I am married and he still kept pursuing me! Ahhhh I can't handle that so if you are that guy and reading this...this is why I no longer have kik [: haha that was my random tangent for the morning...on the plus side I get to go to the mall today with my husband and to the gym because my ankle is feeling 1000000x better! This training has been way more intense than my last time I feel like because the cardio is way harder haha but my body is gonna push or I am gonna die trying I guess. If you are in Arizona (like I am right now) and want to go workout LMK! And if you are one of those guys who thinks that being married means you could still have a shot...well you are wrong and you are an idiot...marriage means A LOT to me and to my hubby. No I will not eat ice cream

Good morning fellow followers whom I love! So as I said in my last post I met with my amazing coach Sandy last week and yes I think she is mad lol ok well she would never actually be mad at me but I did get my new cardio workout and hot damn I am working my little booty off! I have hard sprints, stair sprints, elliptical sprints, bleachers and sprints, and a day of my choice. Hardest cardio I have ever done...all because I couldn't say no to that dang ice cream...stupid me. So my husband and I are down in Arizona this week well for the next two weeks for me and for the next 3 months for him as he is starting medical school down here haha and I still have to finish my student teaching in Utah. This is going to be really difficult for me considering he is my ROCK and my everything so I am planning on throwing myself into my school and into my training which will be difficult because I know the only reason I succeed last time is because he was there helping me every step of the way...ok random rant but I have reason I swear! So it is a 10.5 hour drive from Utah to Arizona and lets just say that when you cant snack on food during a road trip well it gets kind of boring and 1.5 gallons of water is just fun haha. So we are driving and we stop (yet again) because I have to pee and there is a Carl's Jr. across the street from the gas station and what is their newest invention...A POPTART ICE CREAM SANDWICH...what kind of sick joke is this? I love pop tarts after my last competition I ate 8 pop tarts for breakfast it was disgusting and obviously ice cream is my fav thing to eat haha! So I couldnt stop thinking about then yesterday I get to the gym and start doing my sprints at a 7.5 (which for me is crazy fast because I think running at a 5.5 or 6.0 is hard) and I am like oh yeah thats why we don't eat pop tart ice cream sandwiches haha! So there is my random rants for the day! I missed you all and wanted to update you on my life! I am on track for September and October so wish me luck!
